Or well enough

Enjoy the dinner laid out for you
Put down the hosting Martha
Savor the moment
Do not look at the price on the menu

Soothingly pet her to sleep
She slept deeply
Instead of anxiously pacing
throughout the whole night
And obligatory allowance out of kennel
Standing at the door
And commanding evacuation
Then passively stating
To return to slumber
And returning to slumber
Earnestly stepping into her paws
Earnestly feeling through her emotions
Empathizing
Is healing
