Funny thought bounced around
While listening to

There are more elevators down
Than upstairs going up
It is faster
Easy
Comfortable
Many can come down at the same time
You can bring more with you
Surrending control to turn around until the destination is achieved
It is the stairway to heaven
And highway to hell
As I was overcoming a fear
I saw a surfer catch small wave
Then turn and jump back down onto the board
Cool
What if
You turn and go backwards for a while
So that you do not have to paddle as far
Cool, tough
Have to leave at the right time
Dig in hard to the turn
Shoot around the corner
To sling backward
Toward the wave
That would need to be right behind
