  • Back to basics

As I was writing slowly listening, quickly trusting (link to post)

    Branched thought

From playing volleyball bad a few weeks ago

    Why was I really upset?

    Yes

    I played terrible

    Yes

    I lost most games

    But

I was constantly not achieving my goal

Constantly not placing the ball where I want it to go

Constantly not passing the ball where I want it to go

    So I hit harder

Went for other shots I didn’t normally try

When I needed to slow down

Choose shots that I was comfortable making

    My version of a layup

    Not a lollipop shot

    But

Back to something that is basic to Me

    A comfortable sharp cut

  • Slow listening, fast trusting

Voice number 4. Worshiping playlist, walking, after less manpowered, more god-powered (post link)

    Goal: trust God

    Our natural walking speed

    Allows for so much time

To intake (/ receive / consume/ aka listen)

    The faster you go

    The less information you intake

    The more you must trust

    What are you trusting in?

    The creator of the car/bike/track

    Slowly pour, quickly trust

    Slowly learn good technique

    Slowly incorporate

    Fastest overall path

  • Less man power, More God powered

Still on my journey of never, maybe I will (post link)

What a nice spot to relax

    Fence sitter

    What recreational activities honor God?

    Tough to discern

    A good starting point

How many man-powered things are required?

How much of God created things, does it destroy?

    Example list

    Yes: Beach volleyball

No: importing beach sand to indoor structure in Arizona

    Yes: disc golf

    No: golf

    Yes: biking

    Less: assisted biking

No: Cadillac biking using gondola at a theme park

    Yes: hiking

No: Gucci geared, never mudded hiking shoes, Michelin Star restaurant half way up the trail hiking

    Yes: bocce ball

No: groomed courses, groomed horses, groomed jockey bets
