  • Taking life

    During prayer40

Taking a life (self not others) is the denial of trust in God’s plan

That whatever God has planned now is more than can be endured

Prayer outro for Kobe Bryant resonated

    Jesus wept (John 11:35)

I grew up watching Kobe be an exceptional basketball scorer player

I was saddened by Kobe’s airplane crash

Envisioning the lyric that we are all just a vapor

That airplane evaporating in the sky

The drop of saddness that landed on the hearts of people that knew him

    Reverberated throughout the world puddle

Kobe Gigi plus 7 lives are as delicate as mine

The drop lands as hard on a heart as any delicate life does

    As family friend neighbor

    Jesus weeps

    When I was a child

I wept when I departed from my God family’s home

I enjoyed my time with them so much

I did not want it to end

I was excited for the next time I would see them again

Jesus wept because He was sad for Lazarus’ death

    Yes and

Jesus wept because He saw Mary and others weep (John 11:33)

He comforted those that were mourning (Mat 5:4)

By mourning with those who mourn (Rom 12:15)

    Yes and

Jesus was saddened by knowing their heart and their unbelief that they will see Lazarus again one day in Heaven

    *snatched* pronoun Heaven

Not just any park, or playground, garden

    The one and only Heaven

That the One and Only resides

Just as the depth of my sadness thought I would not see my God family again

    Because I was young

    With Unregulated feelings

I did not know how to root in faith

That I would see them again soon

Just as the depth of Kobe’s death saddened believers in Christ Jesus were as painful as my neighbor on the street

No sadness deeper than Jesus for us

No sadness deeper than ours for the death of Jesus

    Faith in the resurrection

Takes the bite out of death

Holy Spirit put Brandon lake song on my heart

    From my perspective.
Training at the Gym is physical (fleshly) preparation for physical work like a fire fighter

Training at school is mental preparation for mental decision making like a pharmacist

Training at church is spiritual preparation for heart work for compassionate relationships like being a disciple of Jesus.

The first two are necessary to sustain the worldly body. However, seek first the kingdom and His righteousness of the third and all these things will be added to you.

Question remains: where is one area you can trade your valuable commodities (your time & energy) from worldly work to spiritual work?

    Reference:

    Matthew 6:33 KJV
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
