Yup. I have a meeting with her this week to discuss next steps.
I have volunteered in just about every position at church, been at every group event offered, and special events for the past 2 years (wow tomorrow is the start of rooted so literally 2 years since we all started this journey together). Not with the intention of seeking a wife, but also we arent that old of a church. It is not part of God’s plan for me for now (hopefully not ever, but Thy will be done before my desires). I am no longer concerned about it. I do not need a wife to complete me nor validate me like i did in the past. She will be a beautiful addition to help, but if i only have the Lord, I will be satisfied.
I may not be able to relate to the ministry of having kids, but i am a product of a mother that had 3 kids that escaped from a country where she had to come to terms with the idea that she will never see her parents or siblings (that did not escape here too) again without a high school education or formal english learning then to deal with a boyfriend who cheats on her with her childhood bestfriend and literal neighbor. I have lived a life of a tired mother on a nail salon salary without family support. Who i thought didnt love me and pawned us off to our God family, but learned this week how it tore her heart apart that she failed her children and that they did not bat an eye to leave for 3 months.

One praise
The working name is One Praise, with the long-term vision of bringing Christians from different churches together through worship, music, and dance. The eventual dream could be to develop Christian dance camps and a simple worship song/choreography that could spread beyond individual churches—even potentially becoming a recognizable worldwide flash-mob-style expression of praise.
For now, though, I’m thinking much smaller: starting with a local youth worship event featuring worship teams from different churches. Rather than making it a competition, I want the emphasis to be on encouraging one another, with things like creativity, cohesiveness, and audience participation celebrated through encouraging awards. One idea I especially like is giving the audience two minutes after each team performs to send encouraging comments that appear on a screen.
Eventually, I’d love for all the teams to come together for one final song and shared choreography. That could become the foundation for the larger vision.Debating on starting with a specific age group or opening it now to the full age range.

1) Firm in the faith: col 2:7
- Rooted. Adam and eve were not made and put into the clouds. They were put on the ground in the garden. David janzen (mericans withered their roots and inhavited space and lost their place)
- Built up. Present tense. Ongoing process. Constantly. Living house that God continues to grow. God is the contractor… The architect. Jackhammer and hammering. I wanted a bungalow by the beach, god decided to buold a palace
- Strengthened: only as strong as your foundation. Leaning tower of pisa. Propping up the failure of preparation in foundation no matter how perfect the building. Silly iconic thing. Unknown its need now
- Overflowing. Distracted by overflow of the living water at the fridge. Stay by the well. Stay by Jesus. Overflowing with jesus that you cannot help but not give it away naturally.

Easy to get caught up and captivated by something other than God’s will
We typically do not get to Choose what we are interested in, we are gripped and captivated first
Human tradition, human creation will enslave snd imprison you
No such thing as spiritually neutral advice
It is godly wisdom or empty worldly deceit
Hollow knock of sin
You may be a Christian, but follow the letter of law, never feel enough. Wait until you finish this. When you are perfect in this. Lingering sense of uncertainty that Christ is not enough.
Be captivated by Jesus Christ
Who has captured your mind and heart??
No vague form of spirituality
Allow the word of god to shape my heart and mind daily

What makes you whole. Thing or person. To feel complete
Job. Title. Spouse. Baby. Other spouse. Money. Religious performance.
I am justified before God because my service. My title. My relationship. My daily read of bible. 🚫
Idolization: by/to spouse.
Recognition of idolization. Of identity of Christ. Being complete in Him
Deeper question of going to church… How is your relationship with Jesus Christ? Not half measures. He must be Lord of your life. Your role model. Do not add in Jesus into our stuff. We have Jesus lead and see what we get to keep.
We did not just add in religious practices.
That which does not die, cannot be brought back to life in Jesus
Baptism is to be dipped into God’s grace
All of it. New creation. New idenity. Entirely new you.
