I was disappointed for the last time
When putting my worth in my partner
I have constantly had to kill myself
My thoughts
My spirit
Because I was constantly wrong
Some justifiably
Some less
Then I realized
I needed to stop seeking my worth
In humanity
I must seek it
From God above
The hurtful accusations are less painful
When you know your identity in Christ
When you realize the painful lens
That the other person is looking through
Without the love of Christ
