How do you take things serious?

    Discernment

    Mat 27:30

    Chop off your hand??

    Dramatic sigh (link post)

    Actually/seriously

    Yes

    Because it is that serious

So then go do it? Chop off my hand?

If you do not have the self discipline to stop

You must pick it up at 1 PM in downtown LA on Friday, SHARP

(there is typically some traffic at that time)

Are you late to drop the kids to school?

    Are you late to work?

Are you late to the box seats of the football game?

Are you late to the backstage pass concert?

Are you late to the private party Omacase?

Are you late to the booty call?

Are you late to meet your dealer?

Are you late for the century bloom?

    There is Mercy and Grace

Pondering back to our exile from the the garden of Eden

Those that settled in difficult climates

    were small but strong tribes

    Strong physically and spiritually

For their spirit had to be strong to rely on the land

Those that settled in easier climates

    Were challenged less

    So their mental capacity grew

Imposing on physical and spiritual growth

For the spirit weakened by fear of security and providence

Moved the physical to train for controlling the environment

Those who trusted in their own control, faultered

Those who trusted in God with surrender, flourished

    With physical gift of health

    With spiritual gift of contentment

The mental need to be tamed
