Faith in God

I lost my faith in all of humanity

So I put my faith in God’s death

And he has not let me down

And he has led me back to you

Because you are good

And you are loved

By him first

Then by me

You had faith in me to let me see your deepest wound

I did not leave

I tried my hardest

In my own strength

To show love

To be gentle and kind

But I could not do it alone

I needed your help

You were not willing to help

So I turned to God

And he gave me strength
